Closing Time

Well, NaNo WriMo (that is, National Novel Writing Month) is drawing to a close. Over the month, I've received a number of helpful tips from various published authors, and all of them seem to agree on one thing: Don't go back and edit. There will be time for that later. This is just about the writing right now.
Well.
I found out why they say not to go back and read over your work. Because I went and did it. And guess what?
I have just written 40,000+ words of absolutely nothing.
That is nothing. At all.
Sigh.
This is what I get for typing out a story that I had imagined as a graphic novel.
(Hah, like I didn't totally write this entry as an excuse to use a journal skin.)
